SpearPoint Marketing, LLC ("SpearPoint", "we", "us") runs thespearpoint.com and grow.thespearpoint.com. This policy explains what we collect on those sites, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What you give us
When you answer the four questions on grow.thespearpoint.com and ask for your audit, you give us:
- Whether you own or run a gym
- Your first name
- Your gym's name and its city and state
- Your email address
- Your four answers: when the last photo was added to your listing, what category your listing shows, whether anyone has found you through an AI assistant, and where you think your gym comes up in search
- If you book a call with us, you also give us the time you picked and any details you add to the booking.
- If you email us or reply to us, we keep that correspondence.
What we collect automatically
Like most websites, ours record technical information when you visit: your IP address, your browser and device type, the pages you look at, how long you stay, and the site or ad that sent you.
Cookies and tracking
Meta Pixel. We use the Meta Pixel to understand which ads bring people to the site and to show ads to people who have visited. When you submit the form, the pixel may send Meta a scrambled, one-way version of your email address and first name so Meta can tell whether you are the same person who saw our ad. The scrambling happens in your browser before anything is sent, so Meta does not receive your email address in readable form. You can control how Meta uses this in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.
Why we use your information
- To prepare the audit you asked for and to send it to you
- To contact you about that audit and to schedule a call if you want one
- To answer your questions and provide our services
- To send you marketing about SpearPoint, which you can stop at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by replying and asking
- To measure whether our advertising is working
- To keep our sites secure and working
Who else sees it
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone who wants to market their own products to you.
We do share it with the companies that run our tools, and only so they can provide those tools to us:
- GoHighLevel, which stores our contacts and sends our email
- Meta, as described in the pixel section above
- Google, for website analytics
- Squarespace, which hosts thespearpoint.com
We will also disclose information if the law requires it, or if we need to protect our rights or someone's safety.
How long we keep it
We keep submissions and contact details for as long as you are a client or a prospective client, and afterwards only as long as we need them for our records or the law requires. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.
Your choices
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it
- Stop sending you marketing
- Stop sharing it for advertising purposes
Email [email protected] and we will take care of it. We will not treat you differently for asking.
Colorado residents have these rights under the Colorado Privacy Act, including the right to appeal if we turn down a request. If we do, we will tell you how to appeal.
Children
Our sites are for gym owners and operators. They are not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will remove it.
Security
We protect your information with reasonable safeguards, and the tools we use do the same. No website can promise perfect security, so we will not pretend otherwise.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will say so on the page.
